The story

After living in their home for 30 years, the homeowners wanted a backyard that they would never want to leave. As Backyard by Design began working with the homeowners on the plans, they quickly realized how challenging this project would be.

The challenges did not deter Backyard by Design from completing this project to fit the owners dream. There was a lot of strategic planning involved with this project due to the tight size of the lot, the dreams of the homeowners, and city requirements. Each phase of the project needed to be approved by the city before the next phase could begin.

Stunning yet cozy Features

Completing the project in phases to comply with city requirements, the transformed backyard design included a magnificent 32-foot fire feature, and a 360-degree spillover champagne-style spa.

Within the cabana, a blend of materials was used, including customized Ipe wood for the structure, granite countertops, and porcelain flooring. The area surrounding the pool and cabana incorporated grass inlays in the tiles, lending a natural touch. To provide a polished and pristine outdoor finish, Unilock pavers were utilized around the pool.

At the end of the project, the homeowner observed how it was just incredible how similar it looked to the initial renderings and 3D videos that were proposed. They continue to be amazed by their newly transformed space, enjoying it regularly.
